General Labor
Pay: $18.00+/hr.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift
Job Description: We are currently looking for a qualified General Labor for a company located in Hardeeville, SC.
Responsibilities:
-
Cut, bend, shape, and assemble reinforcing steel (rebar) according to work orders and specifications.

Operate rebar cutting, bending, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.

Measure and prepare materials using tape measures and other measuring tools.

Read and follow basic work orders, measurements, and fabrication instructions.

Load, unload, sort, and organize steel materials and finished products.
-
Assist with tying, bundling, stacking, and preparing rebar for shipment.
-
Inspect finished materials for accuracy, quality, and defects.
-
Operate hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment as authorized.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
-
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.

Perform additional general labor and fabrication duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs as needed, using assistance or lifting equipment when appropriate.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Willingness to work around heavy steel materials, machinery, and fabrication equipment.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.
-
Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots.

Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed.
