GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Clerk is responsible for the administrative support of day to day activities in the human resources operation. The person in this role will work in an office setting and will exhibit a high degree of professionalism, creating a positive brand image for Koch Foods. Meeting the production numbers and other essential job functions ensure that we are providing the best quality product to our customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets all employees in a friendly and courteous manner when assisting with their employment transactions.
• Perform a wide array of functions in human resources related to processing, filing, and maintaining personnel information.
• Interact with job applicants, employees, and supervisors.
o Informs applicants on where they are in the hiring process.
o Assists employees with questions about employment, payroll, and other HR related issues.
? Refers employees to the correct person if you do not know the answer to an employees’ question.
• Provide clerical support to the human resources team.
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality in dealing with employee information.
• Inputs new hires into ADP system and process through E-Verify.
• Manage all customer service requests as they come in.
• Will be detail oriented and organized.
• Answer phone and answer questions within the scope of responsibility for job and refers all other calls to correct HR team member.
o Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor when dealing with customers.
• Capable of data entry into ADP Time (Payroll System).
• Make employee badges.
• Assist with new hire orientation.
• Assemble new hire packets for orientation.
• Will exhibit a great deal of collaboration and team work when dealing with co-workers.
o MUST be a TEAM PLAYER.
• General Job duties/ tasks:
o All other duties as assigned.
o Will adhere to company animal welfare policy, and other state and local laws.
o Punctual, regular attendance is a requirement for this job.
o May be required to work some weekends.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field.
o OR working toward bachelors’ degree.
• Manufacturing or other related industry experience a plus, but not required.
o Previous role-related experience.
• 1 year of HR related experience.
• Previous experience using ADP.
o OR experience using other HRIS systems.
