Position: Entry-Level Sales Support Coordinator
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
This entry-level role provides daily administrative and operational support to the sales team. The ideal candidate will help ensure timely order processing, accurate documentation, and effective coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales team members with daily administrative tasks
- Expedite critical orders with mills, manufacturers, and internal warehouses
- Prepare customized customer document packages (e.g., MTRs, packing slips, invoices)
- Coordinate logistics for time-sensitive orders
- Break down and manage large bid packages
- Enter and manage large quotes within the operating system
- Interface with CRM systems as directed
- Update and improve Excel-based bid packages
- Perform data entry, including customer information and credits, into internal systems
- Create, update, and merge Excel spreadsheets
- Request quotes from multiple vendors and track responses
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer use
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn internal systems and processes
