Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support to two departments, with a focus on purchasing coordination and inventory data analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, streamlining processes, and supporting cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to two departments, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Assist with purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders, tracking orders, and communicating with vendors
- Maintain and analyze inventory data to ensure accuracy and optimal stock levels
- Generate reports and insights related to inventory trends, usage, and forecasting
- Support budget tracking and expense reporting related to purchasing
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Maintain organized records and documentation for purchasing and inventory systems
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of administrative or operations support experience preferred
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
