Job Full Description
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Optical Office Receptionist to join our growing eye care team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our optical office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and patient information
- Check patients in and out of appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and office documentation
- Assist with frame selection and basic optical inquiries as needed
- Process payments and handle daily office transactions
- Coordinate with doctors, opticians, and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or medical office experience preferred
- Optical or eye care experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn practice management software
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
