Responsibilities
Chiller QA Technician
- Monitor and record product temperatures using industrial data recorders
- Collect, label, and document samples for microbiological and freeze/thaw testing
- Prepare and stage samples for laboratory pickup
- Maintain accurate quality records and complete all assigned documentation
- Perform additional QA duties as needed
Tray/Cup Line QA Technician
- Weigh and verify products on tray, cup, and single-portion packaging lines
- Record packaging line downtime and identify root causes
- Collect, label, and document product samples for quality testing
- Ensure packaging consistently meets quality standards and specifications
- Perform additional QA duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or food production experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards preferred
- Strong basic math skills and comfort using a calculator
- Ability to read and interpret industrial thermometers
- Reliable attendance and sharp attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn — we'll train dependable candidates
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 70 pounds
- Work in temperatures ranging from subzero to 100°F
- Stand for extended periods on hard, wet flooring
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, twist, and reach overhead
- Accurately weigh, inspect, and document packaged food products
