Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Packer to join a Local Company in the Malakoff, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Some Weekends Required)
Job Description:
- Packaging:
- Cleaning packaging containers to ensure they are ready for use.
- Lining and padding crates to protect products during transportation.
- Assembling cartons and other packaging materials.
- Product Handling:
- Obtaining and sorting products for packaging.
- Wrapping protective materials around products to prevent damage.
- Regulating the speed of the conveyor to ensure smooth operation.
- Inserting or pouring products into containers as needed.
- Inspection and Quality Control:
- Conducting inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Identifying and reporting any defects or issues with products or packaging.
- Physical Requirements:
- Demonstrating physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and pull for extended periods.
- Handling repetitive tasks with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packaging environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, stooping, and pulling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
