Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join a Local Company in the Canton, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Install and troubleshoot wiring, lighting systems, control panels, motors, and electrical components
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
- Collaborate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades on job sites
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
- 3+ years of experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks
- Experience with conduit bending, panel work, and motor/control wiring
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
