Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a local company in the Malakoff, TX area.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5PM - 2AM
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement solutions quickly to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts usage.
- Ensure all maintenance work follows company safety standards and OSHA regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Production Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with shop tools, welding, and fabrication is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
