Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a local company in the Corsicana, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 6PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Repair and maintain electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing.
- Inspect, service, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment interruptions.
Requirements:
- 3 years of maintenance experience, specifically with heavy equipment and diesel engines.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
- Experience working with overhead cranes and industrial shop equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging work orders and maintenance reports.
