Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician to join a local company in the Athens, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Rotating Saturdays), 6AM - 3:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair maintenance on equipment according to schedules assigned by service management
- Verify work assignments for accuracy and request clarification when needed
- Diagnose equipment issues and recommend additional repairs to the Service Coordinator so customers can be notified
- Maintain tools and equipment; follow all safety procedures and report tool replacement or new tool needs to the Service Manager
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of customer equipment during and after service
- Operate forklifts, tractors, and trucks with trailers as required
- Maintain accurate service documentation using basic computer systems
Requirements:
- Knowledge of machines, tools, and mechanical systems
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to manipulate small parts using fine motor skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, crawl, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Forklift and equipment operation experience preferred
