Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Septic Installer Apprentice to join a local company in the Murchison, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 3PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections of trucks and equipment
- Assist with routine maintenance of trucks, tools, and equipment
- Ensure truck cab and work areas are free of trash and debris
- Return all job files and paperwork to the office daily
- Load pipe, chlorine tablets, and necessary supplies for installation jobs
- Check the whiteboard daily for assignments and special instructions
- Assist with plumbing and gluing pipe during installations
- Load trucks after completing installations and ensure all tools and equipment are accounted for
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked shop daily
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- Basic plumbing and pipe installation knowledge
- Experience using hand tools
- Ability to perform minor electrical work
- Basic equipment maintenance skills
- Ability to follow directions and learn quickly
- Strong shop organization and cleaning habits
- High school diploma or GED
- Current, valid driver’s license
