Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join a local company in the Ben Wheeler, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Record and track part numbers, serial numbers, tracking numbers, and other required documentation
- Stock shelves and organize inventory properly
- Process outgoing shipments and prepare items for delivery
- Operate forklift and pallet jack safely
- Read and use a tape measure accurately
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist with basic inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse (general cleaning and housekeeping)
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic warehouse knowledge preferred but not required
- Willingness to work hard and take initiative
- Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) forklift and pallet jack
