Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeing a Warehouse Lead to join a local company in the Athens, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and prioritize daily warehouse operations to meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Oversee order fulfillment to ensure accuracy, quality control, and on-time shipment.
- Coordinate shipping activities, including packaging, labeling, and scheduling outgoing shipments.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to resolve order issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare materials, products, and displays for trade shows and special events.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing and workflow efficiency.
- Provide leadership, training, and guidance to warehouse team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
- Identify process improvements and take initiative to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming materials and products as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with inventory management and shipping processes.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Proficient with basic computer systems and warehouse software preferred.
