Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a VLM Technician to join a local company in the Ben Wheeler, TX area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00PM - 2:00AM, Training on Day Shift
Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage VLM systems to support multiple departments
- Design and maintain digital and physical storage layouts
- Create location types, assign slotting priorities, and optimize storage efficiency
- Organize and manage item identification, labeling, and product affinities (BOM components)
- Receive, process, transfer, and issue inventory (physically and digitally)
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor stock levels using strategic planning and fulfillment principles
- Manage contract hardware storage and orders
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of VLM equipment
- Assist with additional shipping and inventory duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 4+ years of warehouse and inventory operations experience
- Experience operating warehouse equipment and machinery
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with intermediate computer proficiency
- Experience with inventory management systems
