Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for a Line Lead position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Athens, TX that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Assist the production team to ensure efficient and continuous equipment operation
- Monitor fabric throughout the finishing process to ensure consistent application of finishes and backings
- Maintain proper machine settings, including temperature and speed, for optimal results
- Replenish supplies such as finishing chemicals, adhesives, and other materials as needed
- Inspect fabric during processing for quality issues or equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
- Coordinate with team members to maintain steady workflow and resolve production issues
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance to keep equipment and work areas in top condition
- Support maintenance staff with equipment repairs and testing when needed
- Troubleshoot minor equipment or production issues and report concerns to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures when handling materials and operating machinery
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment; report any facility issues promptly
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management

- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
