Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for a Forklift Driver position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Athens, TX that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Operate forklifts to transport brick products and materials throughout the facility
- Load, unload, and stage materials as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies
- Coordinate work activities with other forklift drivers and team members
- Perform general cleanup of work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Prolonged sitting while operating equipment
- Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting
- Ability to climb on and off equipment
- Heavy lifting required
- Minimum of 1 year forklift experience required
- Ability to safely operate gas, diesel, or propane forklifts
- Strong communication skills with team and other drivers
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- High school diploma or GED preferred
