Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for a Pallet Sorter 4th Shift position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Palestine, TX that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
Responsibilities:
- Repair wooden pallets using hammers, pry bars, and pneumatic nail guns.
- Sort pallets by grade and remove trash and debris before shipment.
- Hand stack pallets to required heights.
- Load and unload pallets and materials from trailers by hand.
- Move pallets safely and follow inventory control procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools safely.
- Previous pallet repair or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy physical labor.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and manual handling in a fast-paced environment.
