Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor position through our Athens office! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:

Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate daily repairs, construction, and facility upkeep.

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for machinery, HVAC, and facility systems.

Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and help identify the causes of recurring problems.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.

Coordinate tools, supplies, contractors, and service vendors, including pest control and waste management.

Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company safety policies.

Oversee facility cleanliness, groundskeeping, and exterior property maintenance.

Train and evaluate maintenance staff and support their development.

Collaborate with Production and Engineering to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Support equipment installations, facility layout changes, and utility upgrades.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:

Experience in facilities maintenance and supervising maintenance personnel.

Knowledge of machinery, HVAC, and building systems.

Strong troubleshooting, organization, and recordkeeping skills.

Familiarity with OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Ability to coordinate vendors, manage projects, and prioritize production needs.

Strong leadership and communication skills with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
