Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Journeyman Electrician position through our Athens office! We are a full-service staffing firm working with companies in East Texas offering full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. While we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:

Install and maintain wiring, lighting, and power systems in commercial facilities.

Work with high-voltage systems, motors, and industrial control systems.

Install and maintain residential wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting.

Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and schematics.

Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC), local building regulations, and OSHA safety standards.

Maintain required documentation and permits for inspections.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:

A valid Journeyman Electrician license.

Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial, industrial, and residential electrical systems.

Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment.

Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and dependability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
