Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator positions in Palestine, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Malakoff, TX and its surroundings that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment, including:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Dump Trucks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Follow all company safety policies and project requirements.
- Work efficiently with field crews to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Travel to job sites throughout Texas as needed.
Travel Requirements
- Travel approximately 2/3 of the year to projects throughout Texas.
- While traveling, employees can expect to be away from home for extended periods depending on project needs.
- Reliable transportation to designated meeting locations is required.
Work Schedule
When Working Locally (Home):
- Monday through Thursday
- 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Four 11-hour days each week
When Traveling:
- Monday through Saturday (or as project requires)
- 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- 12-hour workdays for the duration of the project
Qualifications
- Experience operating excavators, dozers, and dump trucks.
- Ability to work safely in changing job site conditions.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Texas.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
