Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Feeder/Packer position for a local Greenville, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Inspect products for quality of printing, cutting, folding, and gluing
- Feed cartons into machinery
- Restart machines as needed
- Maintain machines with basic operational knowledge of the Leary System
- Assist operators with make ready and setup processes
- Set up packing stations, including tape machines and ink jet printers
- Pack cartons in corrugated cases for finished goods warehouse
- Perform palletizing and packing duties
- Assist with locating corrugated cases where applicable
- Perform rework duties as needed
- Complete Daily Quality Check sheets
- Assist with housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and assigned work areas
- Support product safety and product quality standards by reporting concerns to Senior Management or the Quality Manager
- Assist with basic machine maintenance when necessary
