Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Shop Helper position for a local Emory, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Perform surface preparation on trailers, including sanding, grinding, and polishing prior to painting
- Use angle grinders, wire wheels, buffers, and other hand tools to prepare trailer surfaces and finishes
- Clean trailers and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist fabrication and production team members as needed
- Follow safety procedures and company standards throughout the shop
- Complete physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Interest in working in a fabrication/manufacturing environment

- Previous shop, construction, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
