Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a CDL Driver Class A position for a local Como, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Pick up loads from the local facility in Como, TX
- Drive to Dallas then Ennis, and back to Dallas
- Finish the route by returning to the local Como facility
- Load the truck in the morning using a walk-behind electric pallet jack
- Deliver and pick up freight that is otherwise loaded and unloaded at warehouses
- Operate a 10-speed manual transmission tractor-trailer
- Ensure safe, timely, and professional delivery of all loads
- Maintain punctuality and reliability throughout the workday
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Must have TX Valid CDL
- Experience driving manual (10-speed) transmissions
- Ability to use a walk-behind electric pallet jack
- Strong punctuality and attendance record
- Dependable, safety-focused driving habits
- Ability to complete a consistent daily route (Dallas → Ennis → Dallas → Como)
- Professional attitude and work ethic
