Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Shift A - Utility Worker position for a local Sulphur Springs, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Perform recycling duties and remove trash throughout the facility
- Support sanitation and changeover processes
- Clean and sanitize bottling coolers and assist with master sanitation
- Provide break relief for team members as needed
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and operate safely at all times
- Maintain quality standards and support production goals
- Assist the team in meeting or exceeding productivity targets
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear proper PPE
- Work closely with team members in a fast-paced environment
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Ability to stand for long periods and work 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)
- Ability to walk, climb stairs, and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Frequent use of hands and arms for handling, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Strong awareness of safety around moving mechanical parts such as conveyors, gears, and sprockets
- Ability to work in wet, humid, and high-temperature conditions
- Strong teamwork skills and reliable attendance
