Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Ban Saw Operator position for a local Emory, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Operate an industrial band saw to cut 40-ft bundles of material down to size
- Move materials using a forklift throughout the facility
- Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift while maintaining accuracy
- Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
- Receive training on a Plasma machine (prior experience a plus)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with other general duties as assigned
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Prior experience operating a band saw and forklift
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and physical work
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new equipment (Plasma machine training provided)
- Must be able to pass background check prior to placement
