Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a 1st Shift Machine Operator (Fab) position for a local Terrell, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently on the first shift
- Work from written or verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Maintain a steady and consistent flow of product during production
- Perform routine measurements and inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards
- Arrive early or stay late as needed to meet production demands
- Contribute to general maintenance and cleanliness of your workstation
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Prior machine operation experience, preferably in a fabrication environment
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is very helpful
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Strong attention to quality, detail, and workplace safety
