Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Tacker TIG Welder position for a Greenville, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Perform tack welds to hold metal components in place prior to final welding
- Assist fitters and welders with layout, alignment, and assembly of parts
- Use MIG, Stick, or TIG welding equipment as needed
- Operate clamps and hand tools to secure components
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Basic knowledge of welding (TIG, MIG, or Stick)
- Willingness to learn and assist in a fast-paced fabrication environment
- Ability to read basic layouts and follow instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and wear welding gear throughout the shift
- Entry-level candidates welcome – training is provided!
