Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a QC- Weld Quality position for a local Greenville, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Inspect materials and parts before, during, and after fabrication
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions
- Evaluate and check weld quality for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards such as ISO 9001 and American Welding Society (AWS) guidelines
- Communicate findings with production teams and address quality concerns when needed
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Strong attention to detail (small errors can lead to major failures)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control techniques
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to address production issues
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- ISO auditing certifications
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certifications
