Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a PM Shipping - Forklift position for a local Caddo Mills, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the shipping department
- Ensure accurate handling of products and proper shipping documentation
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
- Maintain adherence to company safety standards and warehouse procedures
- Help organize and move materials efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Possibility of assisting the current sand blaster when needed
- Support overall warehouse and shipping operations to ensure timely deliveries
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts required
- Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to safely handle materials and operate equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions including temperature variations and noise
- Manual dexterity for handling materials and operating forklift controls
