Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Yard Hand position for a local Paris, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Perform general yard maintenance and upkeep
- Clean and organize shop areas
- Pull PM parts to fill job orders
- Load and unload customer vehicles and freight trucks
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Make local deliveries using a company vehicle
- Sweep work areas and maintain a clean environment
- Mow grass and perform landscaping duties using a mower and weed eater
- Run errands to pick up parts and supplies as needed
- Assist with general labor tasks throughout the facility
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Forklift experience preferred
- Experience with yard maintenance and landscaping equipment
- Delivery driving experience and a valid driver's license
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as forklifts, mowers, weed eaters, scissor lifts, and work trucks
- Respectful, responsible, functional, and punctual work ethic
- Ability to lift 10–20 pounds regularly
- Ability to bend, walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety and willingness to assist where needed
- Dependable team player with a positive attitude
