Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a CDL Driver Class A position for a local Alba, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Operate an End Dump truck for local and regional hauling routes
- Transport loads from Alba to the quarry in Sawyer, with deliveries to Tawakoni
- Complete daily hauling schedules with a goal of two loads per day
- Safely load, transport, and unload materials using end dump equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures
- Maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors regarding route progress and delivery schedules
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Previous experience operating an End Dump truck or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong awareness of equipment operation, load safety, and road conditions
- Ability to handle physical demands associated with climbing in/out of trucks and performing inspections
