Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Automotive Technician position for a local Greenville, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Perform tire, brake, shock, strut, lift, and alignment services.
- Use Hunter Engineering equipment to perform alignments and other services.
- Diagnose vehicle concerns related to tires, brakes, suspension, and alignment systems.
- Follow instructions, work orders, and established procedures.
- Operate shop computer systems as needed.
- Assist customers and provide professional customer service.
- Support overall shop operations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and working in awkward positions.
- Follow all facility policies, including a no-smoking policy and no cell phones on the shop floor.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Automotive service or technician experience preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
- Comfortable working with tires, brakes, suspension, and alignment systems.
- Experience with Hunter Engineering equipment is a plus.
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work orders accurately.
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Owning personal tools is a plus, but not required.
