Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a CDL Driver Class A position for a local Paris, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
In this role, you will:
- Safely operate a Class A CDL truck to deliver products to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
- Load and unload products daily for scheduled deliveries.
- Collect invoices with proper customer signatures and return completed paperwork to the Sales Center Manager.
- Complete daily truck maintenance checklists and report any maintenance concerns.
- Accurately report in/out times and any merchandise returns.
- Assist in the warehouse with inventory counts, picking orders, and verifying orders for accuracy.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Previous driving and delivery experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, motivated, and punctual with a strong drive and ambition.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork.
- Willingness to assist with warehouse duties as needed.
