Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Purchaser/Inventory Clerk for a company in Gainesville, TX! We are a full-service Staffing Firm that works with companies in Texoma that have full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vendor agreements and purchase inventory and supplies
- Receive and process incoming inventory and materials
- Distribute and kit parts for manufacturing production
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of records
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inventory storage area
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Solid math skills for accurate counting and inventory tracking
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Basic computer proficiency (inventory or ERP systems a plus)
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
