Job Title: Warehouse/Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Spring Area (near North Freeway I-45)
Employment Type: Full time
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.50hr DOE
Reports To: Warehouse Manager or Operations Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse/Inventory Control Specialist to support accurate inventory management and efficient warehouse operations. This position is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, performing regular audits, and ensuring products are properly organized and accounted for within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily inventory counts and cycle audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Record inventory data in warehouse management systems and update records accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain stock in designated locations for accessibility and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues such as overages, shortages, and damages.
- Generate inventory reports and assist in forecasting supply needs.
- Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of warehouse or inventory control experience.
- Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
