Job Full Description
Client of Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a:
Order Puller
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
· Take and comprehend orders for pulling parts or items for the shop
· Locate requested items from storage / bin areas and inspect them for conformity to order type
· Determine that pulled part is intact and has no defects
· Maintain parts inventory and ensure that any item low in stock is requisitioned immediately
· Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems adequately
· Verify and store parts accurately
· Pull and stage parts for work orders
· Other duties and tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or GED
· 2+ years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse distribution or electrical parts
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
· Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
· Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, reach, and stand throughout workday
· Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
· Ability to work with team members or independently
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· General math skills
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Experience:
- Warehouse Pickers & Packers: 2 years (Preferred)
- electrical parts knowledge and: 2 years (Preferred)
