Operations & Quality Control Manager June 19, 2026

Pay: Based it on experience

Job Full Description

                Monday – Thursday: 6:45am to 5:30pm           

                                Friday: As needed – Must be available to work Friday

                                30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks at 10:00am & 3:00pm

                                40 hrs – Plus potential overtime 

JOB DUTIES:

Quality Control

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards
  • Lead inspection activities and ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Maintain documentation related to quality audits, inspections, and reports

Machining Operations

  • Oversee daily machining operations of Manual and CNC Lathes to ensure productivity, efficiency, and precision
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows and reduce downtime
  • Ensure machinery is maintained and operating within safety and performance standards

Shipping & Receiving

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including material handling and inventory control
  • Ensure accurate documentation, labeling, and tracking of shipments
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to meet delivery timelines

Part Trimming / Finishing

  • Supervise trimming and finishing processes to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specifications
  • Implement standardized methods to improve consistency and reduce waste
  • Train and support staff in best practices for finishing operations

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Supervise, train, and develop cross-functional team members
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency
  • Track and report on KPIs such as quality metrics, production output, scrap, and delivery performance

 

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ yrs Manufacturing Operations, including quality control and machining experience

Strong understanding of quality systems (ISO standards preferred)

Proven leadership and team management skills

Excellent problem-solving and process improvement abilities (Lean/Six Sigma a plus)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Forklift experience a plus

Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs

Walk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/day

Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse

Work well in a team environment

Reliable transportation

High School diploma or equivalent
