Warehouse Assistant
Location: Tomball Tx 77377
2 week assignment
Pay Rate $18/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to assist with daily warehouse operations. This position offers flexible hours and reports directly to the Onsite Manager. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, team-oriented, and willing to help wherever needed to keep the warehouse running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Material Handling
- Move flooring materials and other products throughout the warehouse using manual pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50–60 pounds.
Receiving & Shipping
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect and organize received products.
- Pack and prepare products for shipment.
- Prepare shipping documents and arrange shipments.
Warehouse Organization
- Stock flooring and other products from pallets into designated shelving locations.
- Label flooring materials and warehouse inventory.
- Organize and maintain flooring sample displays and inventory.
Assembly
- Assemble shelving, displays, and other warehouse fixtures as needed.
Housekeeping
- Sweep warehouse floors on a weekly basis.
- Empty warehouse trash into outdoor bins on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift 50–60 pounds regularly.
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well with others.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and a team player.
Schedule
- Flexible hours available.
- Schedule to be coordinated with the Onsite Manager.
Reporting Structure
- Reports directly to the Onsite Manager.
