Job Full Description
A local company in Buckhannon is seeking two event staff workers for Friday 11/7/2025 from 7:30AM-1:30PM. Compensation for this temporary position is at $20/hr
Mascot:
- Wear the mascot costume for 50% of the shift; electric fans will be inside the suit with multiple breaks provided
- Unpack and repack the suit before and after the event
- Greet guests and maintain brand image in a friendly manner
- *Must have a slim build and between 5' 7" and 6' to fit inside of the costume*
Handler:
- Assist the mascot throughout the store
- Take event photos via cell phone throughout the shift and upload them at the end of the event
- Maintain brand image in a friendly manner
Qualified Candidates Should:
- Have reliable transportation
- Ability to lift to 25lbs
- Able to stand, bend, kneel, and twist for the duration of the shift
