We are currently seeking candidates for a Shipping / Receiving Clerk for our client, a logistics company in Edgerton.
This is a great evaluation - hire position with a growing firm!
Candidates must be able to work Saturday hours to be considered for this role:
Tuesday–Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Saturday 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, managing dock traffic, and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation. This position works closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and management to ensure timely, organized, and accurate product flow within our facility.
Main Duties:
- Schedule and coordinate all inbound and outbound trucks and dock assignments.
- Communicate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
- Collect fees and issue receipts to outside carriers as required.
- Operate dock locks and dock plates when assisting warehouse staff.
- Coordinate with the Transportation Department on back-haul scheduling.
- Print and distribute purchase orders and receiving labels daily.
- Notify the Purchasing Department of delayed or missed deliveries
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
- Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail.

Pay: $18 - $20/hour
