Carey joined the Express staff in September 2015. Her years of dedication have given her extensive knowledge of both recruiting and the staffing needs of the local community. Carey excels at connecting and building relationships with companies in the area and matching them with great employees.

Katie Telfer

Owner

Katie joined Express in 2011 as an intern when her uncle, Paul Kotz, opened the Fitchburg Express location. She then moved into a Staffing Consultant role, and then Office Manager, before becoming a part owner of the office. Katie loves building relationships and trust with clients, and connecting job seekers with great area employers. Outside of Express, Katie enjoys Wisconsin summers on the lake, traveling with her husband and daughter, and trying new restaurants.

Lucas Shippert

Business Development Representative

Lucas joined Express in July 2025 as a Business Development Representative. Prior to Express, he worked at News 3 Now in the same role, where he gained valuable experience in client relations and business development. He is passionate about building meaningful, long-term relationships with his clients and helping them find the right solutions for their needs. Outside of work, Lucas enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching UFC and football, and getting outdoors whenever he can.

Brenna joined Express in September 2025 as an Employment Specialist. She has over 5 years of experience in staffing and enjoys helping job seekers find employment. She also enjoys building trustworthy, long-term relationships with clients. Outside of work, Brenna enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors year-round.
