Job Full Description
We are currently seeking skilled CNC machinists for our client, a fabrication shop in Elkhorn, WI.

Overview:
-Set up and operate CNC machinery and make advanced adjustments to ensure precise production.
-Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and setup procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
-Troubleshoot and resolve complex CNC machine issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
-Perform part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
-Train and assist CNC operators/tenders with setups, troubleshooting, and adherence to quality and production processes.
-Document production data, setups, inspections, and machine performance in ERP systems and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of machinist experience with lathes or mills, including 1+ year of set-up experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints and understand GD&T and G&M codes
- Compliance with safety regulations and proficient use of measuring instruments
Schedule: Generally 4 day work week, Monday-Thursday. 7am-5pm. Overtime available, but not required.
Pay: Based on previous experience - up to $40/hour
