Job Full Description
Job Title: Cheese Production and Packaging
Schedule/Pay Information:
- $20.50/hour—Night Shift
- 5pm-5am (Rotating 3/4 day work weeks)
- This is a direct placement opportunity which means the client interviews with the plan of hiring on directly if they feel they have a qualified candidate.
Job Duties:
- Inspection and maintenance of production and packaging equipment.
- Ensure sanitation standards are met during each production run.
- Clean machines per specifications (comfortable in small areas).
- Load and unload materials from machines.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
- Replenish packaging materials as needed.
- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
- Box and stack finished product.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications/Information:
- Attention to detail, basic math skills, and having the ability to read, understand, and follow direction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and work in a team or independently with a positive attitude.
- Dependability, flexibility, and efficiency is required.
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, reach, twist, walk, climb stairs/ladder (4-6ft) and lift up to 70 lbs while maintaining proper balance.
- Physically capable of carrying and pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs throughout shift.
- Able to complete repetitive motions for periods during each shift.
- Adaptability to cross train in packaging and production responsibilities.
