Express Employment Professionals of La Crosse is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our custodial team for a local school district. As an integral part of the school, you will play a vital role in providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community. This position has the opportunity for long term employment and benefits at hire on!
Wages and Schedule:
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm (or until cleaning is completed), $16.58/hour based on experience
Responsibilities: As a Custodian, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing building interiors
- Shoveling, cleaning, and trash removal of building exteriors and grounds
- Removing debris or safety hazards from inside and outside of the premises
- Additional duties as assigned by the school district
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent is preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to adhere to and complete cleaning schedules for assigned areas
- Previous experience with janitorial duties is preferre
- Ability to work well with adults, children of all ages, and the public
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift about 25-35lbs throughout work day.
