They are seeking a Project Coordinator to play a key role in supporting projects from concept through completion. Wage:$22-$23/hr based on experience

Hours: M-Thur 7am to 4:30pm, Fri 7am to noon

 

Job Duties of the Project Coordinator Include:

  • Enter customers’ orders into the company’s order management system promptly and accurately.
  • Receive and review customers’ orders for accuracy and completeness paying particular attention to ensure correct pricing. This also includes addressing and resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the order process.
  • Manage customers’ expectations regarding timelines and deliverables.
  • Engage with customers to completely understand specific needs of custom orders while working with both Operations and Production Management to accurately quote custom orders.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with both order execution and products.
  • Communicate with customers in the event satisfaction with the final product is not up to expectations or unexpected issues arise.
  • Communicate with customers with post-delivery feedback, questions or concerns.
  • Maintain organized records of customers’ orders, invoices, shipment details, for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Update order information, status, shipment details, and invoices in customers database.
  • Place purchase orders for raw materials while ensuring timely delivery of these raw materials.
  • Participate in bi-weekly company planning meetings to help foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with raw material suppliers as needed while building strong relationships.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock checks as needed.
  • Collaborate with Operations Management, Production Management, and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Update the company’s internal “Best Practices” documents regarding customers to ensure accuracy.

 

 

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to product management or project coordination preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across teams and with customers
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings or specifications (or demonstrated experience working from technical documentation)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy when managing multiple projects or tasks
  • Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable learning and navigating new systems and processes; strong aptitude for learning is essential
