Job Full Description
Express Employment has teamed up with a local leader in the concrete industry who is in search of hard-working general laborers to assist in the production and set-up of concrete materials. These are entry level positions with the opportunity to move into a long-term spot!
Wage & Hours:
1st Shift: Mon-Thurs, 5:00am-3:30pm, $20.00/hour
General Laborer responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Mixing, pouring, and laying concrete into molds
- Assist in producing wire cages for molds
- Assist operators with loading stamp to mold concrete
- Assist operators in clamping and binding in order to unload stamp and mold
- Finishing work and QC checks on completed parts
- Tear down and clean machinery and assist with set up next day
- Keep work area free of workplace hazards and wear proper PPE at all times
- All other general labor and clean up duties as assigned
General Laborer requirements include:
- HSD or GED preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs as needed throughout shift
- Possess attention to detail skills and follow written and oral instruction/direction
- Previous construction, carpentry, and/or concrete experience is preferred
