Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate – 1st Shift | $20/hr | La Crosse, WI
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-known meat processing and packaging facility in La Crosse, WI to hire experienced Forklift Operators / Warehouse Associates. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse, logistics, material handling, or food production experience looking for a stable 1st shift position.
Pay & Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (or until trucks are loaded)
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate power material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Accurately pick, select, palletize, stage, and load customer orders for shipment
- Ensure all products are handled and delivered without damage or errors
- Wrap and label orders for shipping
- Load and unload trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous forklift experience is required
- Food processing or food production experience highly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling) throughout the shift
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
