Production Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Pay: $18.24/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Location: Sparta, WI
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Production Machine Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working with production equipment and computerized controls.
What You'll Do
- Operate production equipment, machinery, and electronic control systems, including robotics.
- Monitor production quality and inspect finished products to meet company standards.
- Monitor, clean, remove, and replace tooling as needed.
- Meet daily production goals and schedules.
- Track and report production output, scrap, and other required information.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance according to standard procedures.
- Measure parts and materials using precision measuring tools.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate production issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Excel spreadsheets.
- Comfortable performing basic math and reading written instructions.
- Ability to learn and retain information and work independently.
- Ability to make decisions and troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Comfortable working around machinery, noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at waist level and push/pull up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach frequently and bend, stoop, or squat occasionally.
