Job Full Description
We currently have openings for Inside Sales / Customer Service reps for our client, a growing company that is a distributor of safety products.
In this role, you’ll be our customers’ first point of contact, responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer support experience. As an inside sales support partner, you’ll be helping to grow the business by supporting outside sales with new customers and growing their existing customer base.
Main responsibilities:
- Learn the CRM software system (SAP) for processing orders, quoting, checking lead times, etc.
- Answering the phone to take orders, answer customer questions and direct calls to other departments.
- Serving customers in the showroom, suggesting specific products & upselling.
- Giving assistance to customers with shipping/product issues or complaints.
- Learning about the products we sell to help assist customers effectively.
- Assisting sales, purchasing & warehouse with data entry & reporting.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years of cusotmer service experience, ideally in a trade related industry
- Multitasking and organizational skills
- Capacity to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily.
- Attentiveness and patience – the ability to stay calm in an intense environment.
- Time-management skills
- Ability to find the positive in any situation.
- Fostering a pleasant demeanor and the ability to work with multiple personalities.
- Attention to detail - manage to provide written communication to customers that is free of spelling or grammatical errors
Schedule: Full-time, day shift, in office role Mon - Fri
Pay: $20 - $24/hour depending on experience
